Representative experience:

  • Assisted in successfully challenging the unfair dismissal of an executive at a government entity via an urgent application to the Labour Court.

  • Assisted in successfully defending unfair dismissal claims by employees against various government agencies.

  • Representing various individual clients at the CCMA and Labour Court.

  • Assisting in the initiation of disciplinary charges against employees at various government agencies and private sector clients.

  • Assisted in advising a major retailer on the interpretation of its employment contracts in relation to restraint of trade and confidentiality provisions. 

  • Assisted in drafting legal opinions for various clients on various aspects of Labour and Employment law.

  • Facilitates training workshops on applying employment laws in the workplace.
