Sarah focuses on all aspects of human rights litigation in the High Court, lower courts and alternative dispute resolution forums. She has considerable experience dealing with socio-economic rights disputes and animal law, both in an advisory and representative capacity.
She gained valuable exposure to the workings of the Constitutional Court while clerking for Justice Mathopo and Acting Justice Pillay. In 2021, Sarah was also a senior member of the Constitutional Court Style Guide Committee and a South African Liaison Officer for the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe.
During her studies, Sarah was a guest speaker on The Spirit of the Law, a LoveworldSAT legal talk show.
