As an Employment and Labour Law Specialist, Neo acts for clients in the capacity of chairperson or prosecutor in disciplinary enquiries and represents clients at dispute resolution tribunals such as the Labour Court, Labour Appeal Court, CCMA and other dispute resolution forums.

 

Neo advises clients on the management of discipline and grievances within the workplace.  As such, she has developed practical skills of dealing with conflict and complaints, including investigations, arising from a variety of matters, including sexual harassment, unfair discrimination, poor work performance and facilitating amicable separations between employers and employees.

Neo also reviews and drafts contracts of employment at all levels, policy and procedure/ER manuals, conducts due diligence investigations, provides assistance with and legal opinions on both large and small scale retrenchments, transfers of businesses as going concerns and other aspects relating to Labour and Employment Law.

 

She is currently a member of the South African Society for Labour Law, and has also been published in Without Prejudice, a premier SA law magazine.

 

Neo has previously acted in the capacity of Acting Judge of the Labour Court of South Africa.
