Tamsin is a member of our commercial litigation practice and was admitted as an attorney in 2020. Her expertise lie in all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution with a particular interest in contractual disputes, telecommunication related disputes, construction disputes, property disputes, professional indemnity claims and insurance. Tamsin has right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa.

With a strong grasp of court procedures, Tamsin supports the litigation team through the drafting of pleadings and applications for court and other alternative dispute resolution forums, as well as legal opinions and advisory memoranda.

She has gained valuable in-house experience as a legal counsel secondee to a leading oil company, where she has advised on legal and risk matters, conducted contract reviews, and identified operational improvements to reduce legal exposure and enhance efficiency. She is equally adept at managing litigation for state-owned entities, prominent corporates, and clients in the higher education sector.

Tamsin’s approach is underpinned by rigorous legal research and drafting skills, strategic problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and consistently high-quality service.
