KARABO OREKENG

It is with much excitement that we welcome Karabo as an Associate in our Commercial Litigation team. Karabo has a BA Law, Honours in Economics and an LLB all obtained from Rhodes University. Karabo began his legal journey in March 2022 at as an Administrative Assistant. he completed his articles in 2024 and was admitted as an attorney in March 2025 whereafter he worked at the Competition Tribunal of South Africa as a Case Management Intern. He has close to 4 years Litigation experience, a combination of which comprises of Banking (Financial Recoveries), Commercial, and Competition Law Litigation. Combining his analytical and practical nature coupled with a commercial outlook, Karabo aims to use his diverse experience to provide clients with clear legal and business advice. we know he will be an asset to Lawtons Africa, welcome to our tribe!

SASHA KADISH

Welcome to Sasha, who is our new Business Development and Market Intelligence Associate. Sasha completed a BA LLB at the University of Witwaterstrand in 2016. She went straight on to complete her articles where she gained experience in all aspects of the law, finding a passion in family law and litigation. She was admitted as an attorney in 2019 and went on to run a family law department for the next 6 years. Having majored in English and psychology, Sasha found that creative writing and drafting was a passion, and dealing with people and their very human problems was a strength. For 6 years, she learnt the operations and systems required for running a department within a law firm. We believe that Sasha's creative writing skills, legal knowledge, love of people and creative touch will be of great value to our marketing and business development departments and the firm as a whole.
